Mr. Nienhaus’s students participate in Earth Day by cleaning up around the pond and school.

The Maple River 8th grade students recently participated in Junior Achievement’s Finance Park, an interactive, real-world budgeting simulation that gave them a glimpse into adult financial responsibilities. Each student was assigned a unique profile with a career and income, then rotated through stations such as housing, transportation, savings, and childcare to make financial decisions and build a balanced budget. This hands-on experience helped students better understand the importance of managing money and making informed financial choices. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our volunteers: Linda Albrecht, Chelsea Germo, James Gordon, Kate Walters, Ethan McGregor, Whitney Sheely, James Stenzel, Kate Berndt, Zach Kaufenberg, and Justine Pasker, for helping make this valuable learning opportunity possible.

Mrs. Stenzel’s 7th & 8th Grade General Music students shared their musical talents this week, performing on their ukuleles for preschool and elementary students.
