Dave Garver Obituary

David “Dave” M. Garver died Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the service (1-2:00 pm). Reverend Judith Clark will be officiating. Burial will be in Spring of 2026 in Rosehill Cemetery. Please see nasinecfh.com to leave online condolences. 
David Marlin was born May 2, 1967, son of Glenn and Dorothy (Frederick) Garver at the Wells Hospital. David went to Wells High School, graduating with the class of 1985. He worked various jobs including the Wells VFW. Dave worked at Frederick Farms for two years then was employed at Horizon Farms for ten years as a farrowing manager. He had to stop working when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Dave had three children: Katelyn, Trevor, and Mariah. He enjoyed gaming, and watching football, baseball, and NASCAR racing. Dave enjoyed spending time with his kids when they were younger along with his best friend Dave Paal Jr. MS progressed with Dave and he was placed at Mapleton Community Home where he lived. He enjoyed the activities, staff, and friends made there. 
Dave was preceded in death by his parents; as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Dave is survived by his children Katelyn, Trevor, and Mariah; siblings Barbara (Greg) Tupa of Albert Lea, Sandra Garver of Austin, Deb Flores of Albert Lea, and Paula (Rich) Schultz of Wells; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
