The Blue Earth County Board meeting was held Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Blue Earth County Historic Courthouse, Commissioners’ Room, was attended by Commissioners Kip Bruender, Patty O’Connor, Kevin Paap, Mark Piepho and Vance Stuehrenberg. Also, present were County Administrator Bob Meyer, County Attorney Pat McDermott, and Administrative Assistant Stephanie Jahnke.

Commissioners voted 5-0, unless otherwise noted:

•Set a hearing date for County Ditch 60, partial abandonment for July 30, 2024.

• Approve the 2023 Public Works Department Annual Report.

• Approve the 2023 Parks Department Annual Report.

• Accept the low bid for two box culverts on CSAH 2.

• Accept the low bid for a box culvert on County Road 157.

• Approve the June 24, 2024 Emergency Board Minutes.

• Approve the June 25, 2024, Board Minutes.

• Approve the bills as presented.

• Approve the recycling services renewal agreement.

• Approve the revision to the April 9, 2024 County Board Minutes.

• Approve the updated library branch agreements with Cities of Mapleton and Lake Crystal.
